ORCHID Vision Workshop

On 23 May 2018 31 experts from 14 countries, representing academia, industry, regulatory bodies and medical centers, met in a welcoming atmosphere at Fraunhofer IGB in Stuttgart during a workshop of the ORCHID (Organ-on-Chip In Development) project. The purpose of this invitational Vision workshop was to define the ingredients of the European organ-on-chip roadmap. On May 15 Iñaki Ochoa (UNIZAR) gave a talk on microfluidics at the Bull McCabes in Zaragoza, as part of the event “pint of science“.
The Pint of Science is a worldwide festival which pretends to bring latest scientific research to the people through interesting and relevant talks in an accessible format, mainly across bars and pubs. Kick off meeting ORCHID

The ORCHID kick-off meeting took place at the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands on October 19th 2017.
All partners of the ORCHID project presented their plans and discussed how to accelerate the societal and economic impact of Organ-on-Chip technology through coordinated action.
